Candidate for the position of Dance Society - Vice-President

Isabel LYNCH

Hi everybody! My name is Issy and I have had the pleasure of being your Classical/ Modern officer this past year.

I am currently on a semester abroad and so unfortunately have missed the opportunity to get to know some of you guys who joined dance soc in the second semester. If I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you yet, I'd love to take this time to introduce myself to you! I am an outgoing, friendly and optimistic individual, who finds so much joy in being with people from all different backgrounds and walks of life. I learn so much from the friends I have made in dance soc, and hope to expand this network of friendships in the coming year. I am a huge supporter of the people around me and as VP I would be delighted to support our incredible president, ensuring that everything is running smoothly behind the scenes. I am reliable and well- organised, two key skills that are necessary to the growth and development of our already flourishing society.

As VP I would be responsible for providing valuable assistance to the president, using skills such as patience, empathy and calmness. I am a great listener and am always there to support you when you need need a bit of reassurance. I have a clear direction in everything I do and work hard to find the most beneficial outcome for everybody.

The KCL dance society has been a huge part of my experience at King's and I look forward to being able to facilitate this for other students. As someone who has been part of the club for the past two years, I am confident in my ability to keep our society thriving, bringing a new lease of energy. After being away from KCL for this past semester, I have so much enthusiasm and excitement that I can't wait to share with everybody.

I have worked in roles supporting leaders in the past, and reflect happily upon the experience I have gained and the challenges I have overcome. I hope I can act as a voice of reason and confidence within the society.

Thankyou for taking the time to read my manifesto, I look forward to the opportunity of being your VP!
