There can be 100 people in a room, and 99 of them don't watch Doctor Who, but it only takes 1 person to apply for President...

As the president of the Doctor Who Society, I would first and foremost want to create a safe and positive space for people to get together and have time for fun and relaxation from the stress that uni can bring to us. From devoted fans to newcomers, from the introverts to the extroverts, from first years to third, it is most important that we have our own small and close community within the student union. Alongside weekly screenings of our favourite show, I would like to have a variety of social events to let loose within and beyond each semster such as bowling, karaoke, club nights, game nights or even a burger and a pint for anyone interested. Aside from having this leading role of responsibility, I also want to engage with and hear from everyone in the society to get to know all of you along the way just as I have done in my first year, mostly thanks to this society. However, if Peter Davison is your favourtie doctor, then don't bother coming!
