SIAM MURSHED

good vibes only

As BSOC president I have always desired to create a close community of Bengalis who share similar values. Next year I am planning to have a stronger focus on charity with regular community work, along with more sophisticated socials. Some of these will include a cultural aspect and some historical aspects, of which I believe more awareness needs to be spread.

Activity socials will be more off campus, and in order to be as inclusive to everyone as possible we would hold a few guys/girls only events.

As president the well-being and happiness of my society members and commitee members are my number one priority, and all events will be considered with this in mind.

As a generally popular and well-liked member of the university, with strong links to many other cultural societies, and someone adored by my fellow commitee members this year, I am the best person to represent our society. I will strive to maintain the community of Bengalis, as well as trying to incorporate International Bangladeshis more into the society, so that everyone can make strong, long lasting friendships as a result.
