Hello everyone!

I’m Alexandra, I am currently a second-year history student on exchange at Peking University this year and I am running for Head of Communications. I am passionate about diplomacy, in addition to being a member of this society, I am a member of Chatham House and the Global Diplomatic Forum. In the upcoming year, I want to contribute to the growth of the society by helping to reach out to a wider range of students across the university as well as keeping our current members actively engaged within the society.

I will liaise with the rest of the committee, pitch new social media campaigns and contribute to collaborating with other societies. I will ensure that every event and initiative is well advertised and promoted so that we can reach out to a wider range of students at Kings as well as keeping current members actively engaged with the society.

I will ensure that there is easy and quick access to information on both foreign affairs and society news. As a member of other societies where social media and websites are not updates, I understand how frustrating a lack of communication can be for members and I will ensure that all members can easily access up to date information and will be able to easily contact me for any inquires.

I have experience on other committees, I am organised and I will ensure that I promote values of diversity and inclusiveness in this society.

Thank you and I hope I may secure your vote!

Alexandra xx
