About Me !
I’m a 1st Year Music Student and member of KMT. Music and theatre have been an essential part of my life since i could open my mouth. Im actually 99% sure i came out of the womb belting the climax of santa fe x. I love music, taking pictures of anything and everything, food, drink, and spending time with my friends. Joining KMT has been the highlight of my 1st year at Kings, allowing me to come out of my shell and make so many friends ! It would be a great honour to be apart of a committee for the society that has made my 1st year so special.

Having spoken to many first year members, their discovery of KMT was through our instagram page. As Social Media Secretary i would ensure that this is upheld, allowing a new generation of talented, theatre lovers to find their way to KMT !. Furthermore, i am currently witnessing first hand the level of dedication that goes into our shows, and therefore as Social Media Sec i would take great pride in promoting and advertising our shows, across all social media platforms. Creating fun tik-toks, aswell as informative stories and posts, cultivating a feed that really reflects the values of our incredible society.
Why Me ?!
As a music student, writing is a huge part of my degree, and subsequently my ability to write and communicate ideas is exemplary. Furthermore, i pride myself on being an approachable, kind person, and i would make sure that this is conveyed through all communications, whether that be on the KMT’s WhatsApp, or through direct messages on our social media platforms. In continuation, i take great pride in my own social media accounts (@coleboon1 on instagram). I view social media as a creative outlet, somewhere for me to show my true self, and i would love for the KMT instagram to reflect the values and talents of its members. In my opinion, i believe that i would be able to uphold the high standard of past social media secreatary’s whilst also boulstering our presence across all platforms.
It is clear that the role of social media secretary is of the upmost importance, and i am willing to take on this role and fulfill it to the best of my ability. I believe that my own presence on social media, my love for curating posts, and my passion for KMT makes me the perfect candidate for the role !
