You've been framed for an elaborate art heist! While the real thief walks free, it's up to you to unravel the clues and make your escape in a race against time!

In this escape rooms just for online learners, participants will have to unpick evidence, unravel cryptic messages and avoid the curveballs that will be thrown at them along the way! You can join remotely using Zoom from wherever you are in the World. This is a unique chance for anyone studying remotely to meet other students and attend one of our exciting Welcome Week events!

Following a warm welcome and the initial briefing, groups will be split into teams with each team being given their own private ‘breakout room’ where they can discuss answers and tactics. This event will be fully hosted by one of a professional and highly experienced facilitator who will be on hand to help and answer any questions you have.

What do you need to do before the event?

Just sign-up for a free ticket to secure your place and the week before your activity we will send you an ‘event details’ sheet which will

have all of the information you need including details on how to download thegameplay app, the name of your event facilitator, and of course the Zoom link.

Looking to meet new people during Welcome?

Join a Meet Up and attend the Welcome Fair with fellow new students for company. As a new student at King's, whether you’re studying online, joining us on campus, joining as a postgraduate, or looking for a quieter way to connect, there’s a session to help you meet people, explore the Fair together, and start building your King’s community.

You’ll meet your Meet Up group before heading to Welcome Fair together. Once there, you’ll have around 1 to 1.5 hours to explore the Fair, meet student groups and services, and get to know the people in your group along the way.

If you register for a Welcome Meet Up, you won't need to purchase an additional ticket for the Welcome Fair. Your Meet Up ticket will give you entry to the Welcome Fair at your allotted time with your meet up group.

Nursing Student Meet Up

Starting Nursing at King’s? Meet fellow nursing students, explore Welcome Fair together, and start building your nursing community from the very beginning. No previous connections are needed — just join your group and start getting to know other students on your course.

Peer Meet Up: Picnic in the Park

If you book a Meet Up ticket for Welcome Fair, you'll be invited to join our Picnic in the Park on Thursday 1 October, where you can reconnect with the people you’ve met and continue building your King’s community.

You may also want to book onto our other Welcome events designed for specific communities, including online learner, postgraduate, or nursing student socials (event details TBC).

Please note:

⚠️ If you've already registered for a Welcome Fair ticket, you won't be able to register for a Meet Up ticket (and vice-versa!).
👥 Spaces for Welcome Fair Meet Ups are limited and often oversubscribed. If your plans change, please cancel your ticket so another student can join a Meet Up.
🎟️ Welcome Fair Tickets are non-transferable and single-use. Your ticket can only be scanned once, so please don't share it with anyone else. If your ticket is used before you arrive (for example, if it's shared in a group chat), it will no longer be valid for entry.

Here's what you have to look forward to:

Postgrad Breakfast (Choice of Session 1 or 2): Take a seat at the table for a hearty morning meal and casual chats to meet peers across different departments.

How Your Event Bundle Works

Once you buy your Pass, you’re automatically on the guestlist for all included events — no physical tickets or wristbands needed.

Easy Entry: We'll email you a barcode before each event for quick scanning.
Dead Phone? No Stress: If you lose the email or your phone dies, just give us your name at the door, and we'll look you up.
What to Bring: Please bring a government-issued photo ID and your student card, if you have it.

Join King’s students past & present for the annual KCLA Sports Dinner at the prestigious Queen’s Club, home of the WTA 500 and ATP 500 Tennis Tournaments.

This evening will be an opportunity for students and alumni alike to connect or reconnect with King’s over networking drinks, two delicious courses, and an engaging Q&A with our guest speaker in the Presidents Room.

Dress code: Black tie

Main: Chicken breast with Lyonnaise potatoes, French beans & shallots, carrot purée, jus*
Dessert: Berry tart with crème pâtissière & fresh mixed berries
Please note, Vegetarian and Vegan options are available upon request
Drinks: Sauv-Sem Ch Grinou, Merlot-Cab Ch Grinou, sparkling & still water & Elderflower Presse
