GKT Ladies Hockey Club welcomes students of all abilities and from any course across all King's campuses!!!.🩵💛
Predominately we have members from courses based around Guy's Campus, London Bridge, where students study Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Physiotherapy and Sciences. However, we welcome students from any background, with committee members studying social sciences, philosophy, politics and liberal arts!!
If you are an experienced hockey player looking to improve by playing at the highest university level or are looking to start a new sport and meet people outside your course, we have the team for you!
Having five ladies teams making us the largest hockey club at King's, we ensure that players play at their appropriate level, from those who have just picked up a hockey stick to advanced county/club players. GKTLHC has also formed strong connections with the men's club - so it is the perfect place to meet as many people as possible!

Are you looking to join an incredible family with two ex national age group players and play competitive and satisfying hockey? Then the 1s is perfect for you, BUCS Tier 2 winners 2024/24, they have now been promoted into Tier 1!!! We also get to play a yearly varsity at the Olympic stadium!
2s - Captain Maryam Mahmood, Vice Captain Charlotte Taylor
Work hard, play harder. Competitive hockey without the added pressure! This is a team of skilled and talented players that train with the 1st XI, and are continuously improving!
3s - Captain Millie Badenoch, Vice Captain Tilly Aspinall
Sporty but new to hockey, or played a while ago? Then this is the team for you! These girls take their hockey as seriously as they take their socials - ensuring for the best time, weather that be on the pitch or the dance floor!!
4s - Captain Beth Smart, Vice Captain Mubashira Khan
Want a run out on a Wednesday that's more laughs than holding an actual hockey stick - look no further than these gorgeous girls! With this group of girls, team bonding is the priority and scoring goals just comes naturally ;)

For players new to the sport/ beginners that enjoy playing with girls that will become their family, and love nothing more than a hungover Sunday and solely social Wednesdays x

Our nature of being a campus team means that we recognise the time commitments of student, so this is the best place for you to get away from university life and get more of a 'uni' life. You will be able to meet friendly older students from your course who can offer helpful advice, and also be able to make friends outside of your busy course life.
