KCLSU News

General

All club presidents, treasurers and captains are responsible for ensuring all sessions are run in a COVID safe manner and as such are considered COVID reps. There must be a COVID rep at a session for it to be able to take place.

If a member who has attended a session tests positive for COVID then please do the following:
- make sure that the individual self-isolates according to the latest NHS guidance
- make sure that the individual informs King's that they are self-isolating using this form
- contact KCLSU via imt@kclsu.org with the details so we can work with the King's Public Health Team  and the London Coronavirus Response Cell if required.

We will shortly be providing further guidance and training to all COVID reps.

External Fixtures

KCLSU and King's Sport have reviewed the current position that we have on playing external teams. We will be extending this until the end of Term 1 and not allowing and KCLSU club to play fixtures against external teams (including teams from other universities and alumni) This is in line with Sport England guidance for indoor sport and will limit the number of attendees at King's Sport grounds. If your club has specific requirements such as external competitions in Term 1 then please e-mail sports@kclsu.org with details.

In-Person Activity

KCLSU and KCL have agreed that there will be no in-person activity for sports clubs or societies for the rest of term 1. This is in line with the government guidance on the end of term. We will be focussing on a return to in-person activity as soon as it is safe for it to resume in term 2.
