KCL4UYGHUR is a student led campaign aiming to raise awareness about the persecution of the Uyghur Muslims in East Turkestan. The Uyghur are a Turkic ethnic group in East Turkestan. Reports by the UN and several accounts have stated that over 3 million Uyghurs are detained in concentration camps, where they are forced to deny their faith, religion and culture. We aim to unite the student community at KCL to unite against such an injustice.
