Guy’s Café | On campus
Guy’s Café is the best spot for a convenient and cheap bite in between classes. Grab a classic meal deal for £5 or a hot drink and pastry for £3.75. Sandwiches, wraps, sushi and noodles offer a variety of choices for lunch, while hot and iced drinks are made to order by our student baristas.
Guy’s Café is also always adding something new to the menu. From pink hot chocolate to iced coconut lattes, a new season always comes with exciting new drinks.
Crol and Co London Bridge | 2-minute walk
A cozy café tucked along Newcomen Street, Crol and Co offers high quality coffee, cakes and pastries. It is laptop friendly until 5pm and offers both indoor and outdoor seating, making it the perfect spot for a quick study session or a catch up with friends. They also have locations in Bermondsey and South Bermondsey which are convenient spots to stumble upon when exploring the area around Guy’s Campus!
The Courtyard Café | On campus
The Courtyard Café is an on campus spot for lunch and coffee overlooking the Guy’s Campus courtyard. Grab a quick coffee and sandwich and sit out in the courtyard during sunnier days, or spend a whole afternoon powering through revision on one of their spacious tables.
Monmouth Coffee | 5-minute walk
Cafés throughout London boast sourcing their coffee from here, so why not try it straight from the source? Monmouth’s coffee beans are from small, specialized coffee farms that prioritise sustainability. However, expect a crowd, so it’s a coffee maybe more well-suited to bring back to campus with you. Keep in mind that they don’t use disposable cups, so make sure to bring a travel mug!
Fuckoffee | 10 minute walk
Located on Bermondsey High Street, Fuckoffee is a spot known for its eclectic décor and warm, inviting atmosphere. They have seating areas with multiple plug points – perfect for a study session. Alternatively, lounge on one of their spacious sofas or armchairs to unwind and chat with friends.
Guy’s Bar | On campus
Although famous for being home of sports nights, Guy’s Bar also boasts a delicious lunch menu ranging from pizzas, loaded fries, katsu curries to the iconic curly fries. With deals like 10 wings for £7.49 every Wednesday to £6.99 fish and chip Fridays, Guy’s Bar does great lunches on a student budget.
Kanto Boy Coffee Truck | 6 minute walk
Looking for a spot to grab a quick coffee before class? This mobile coffee truck is parked on Great Dover Street every Monday to Friday, just a few steps from Borough Station. There’s something quite movie-like about grabbing coffee from a coffee truck, so this is a perfect way to romanticise your walk to campus.
