Today’s the day! Our report collating the Town Hall held on Thursday 18th February is being published.

We have tried as much as possible to use direct quotes from students to show exactly the issues, emotions, and experiences of students at King’s at this moment.

It’s a long one, so get a tall cup of coffee/drink of choice before you read… alternatively for those of you who’d rather have a quick overview, we’ve brought all of the recommendations mentioned at the end of every section of the report into an Executive Summary at the beginning of the report. We’ll also be sharing the key summarised recommendations over on our social media pages.

Download and read the report here!

From here, this report will be presented at the KCL decision-making committees where we have a regular slot to share papers – College Education Committee, Academic Board, and College Council, as well as supporting our regular conversations with King’s Senior Management.

As part of the recommendations at the start of the report, we’ve included some suggestions for students who were facing some of the issues described in the Town Hall mainly around who to contact or seeking further support – if you’re still not sure who you can contact for individual support feel free to get in touch on studentofficers@kclsu.org or @kclsuofficers on Instagram.

If you’d like to hear specifically about our Town Halls in the future, fill in this Typeform to join the Town Hall mailing list. Or keep an eye out for our Officers Weekly emails!
