It’s Student Volunteering Week!

With the start of a new year, comes new possibilities! From the 7th to the 13th of February 2022, Student Volunteering Week will be happening. This is the perfect opportunity for you to get involved in different volunteering events and initiatives.

 

Get involved

Volunteering gives you a chance to expand your knowledge and discover new areas of expertise. But most importantly, volunteering helps you socialise and get your mind off exams as well as uni work. With a community of more than 40,000 students and over 60 institutions featuring volunteering events with different charity partners, you are bound to find the right volunteering option for you!

Browse the different volunteering opportunities by logging in here. You will also be able to track your volunteering and find out more about the recognition you received for your great work. You might also become the volunteer of the month!

 

Setting up a project

You also have the possibility to create your own volunteering project! If you have an idea you think could make a difference, do not hesitate to set up your plan. You will have the opportunity to get proper funding as well as guidance in order for your project to be safe and sustainable.

To get started, set up a meeting with the Volunteering and Fundraising Coordinator by emailing volunteering@kclsu.org.

 

Latest opportunities and upcoming events

From giving blood to fundraising, you will have the possibility, this upcoming week, to take part in activities that help others and change the world.
