How Union Campaigns work

Union Campaigns are student-led initiatives that aim to influence or change structures, policies and behaviours that affect the lived experience of KCLSU members as students of King’s College London. As a democratic, membership-led organisation, KCLSU supports and funds campaigns that will make change for students at KCL.

Everything we do needs to have a democratic mandate from our membership, so most Union Campaigns are developed based on the manifestos of our elected Officer Team or through our elected Network Committees, Union Development Committees and Academic Associations.

We can also support our student members to set up their own Union Campaigns. You can submit a campaign idea here, and our campaigns team will help you to work with our elected student representatives or build engagement through seeking democratic support from 50 student members and approval from our elected student officers.
