My name is Zahra and this past year was my first year with althletics. I enjoyed this year a lot and want to continue to create an freindly and supportive atmosphere for everyone who is in and wants to join athletics. Althetics may seem like an individual based sport but it is very much a team sport. So next year I hope to help arrange events to encourage team spirit. Being apart of other teams like basketball or a consultancy team has helped me see how important it is to work together to achieve a goal and push one self further as an individual. From my experience it’s memories together that make or break a team and as a social secretary I hope to help create events to remember and a website as a refresher in case you forget.
