Hi all! I’m Hania and I’m running for secretary and wellbeing officer. Having joined Muay Thai Society this year, I have really enjoyed being a part of the club and have met some amazing people. I felt instantly welcomed and a part of the  strong sense of community present in the club. As your future wellbeing officer, I would ensure that all future members experience the same feeling I experienced and feel comfortable and welcomed in the environment. I know the importance of wellbeing and would like Muay Thai to be a safe space for many students where they feel instantly at ease. I would also hope to be an approachable person to whom students feel comfortable talking to about their worries. As secretary, I would ensure that the club affairs are dealt with in an efficient manner and sign-ups are are released on time. Having been student trustee for KCLSU, I have been able to work on organisation and communication skills. I believe these skills will help me to perform the role of Secretary and Wellbeing officer to the best of my abilities. I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of KCL Muay Thai and look forward to help making a difference to this society.
