Running this scheme over the past year has been an extremely rewarding experience for us both. Having been mentees of this scheme ourselves, we recognise the importance of mentorship and the impact it can have when done well. We believe our experience on both the organising and receiving end of the scheme has given us the insight and experience required to troubleshoot and maximise the potential of this scheme. If voted in, we plan to keep up the society’s good work by: 

• Creating more opportunities for CV/portfolio building by encouraging research output to organise Poster/Essay competitions.
• Facilitating seamless communication between mentees and our team so as to ensure timely and quality replies to your queries. 
• Prioritise the formation of stronger connections between fellow mentees by providing more platforms to network
• Encouraging research opportunities for mentees by informing them of ongoing audits in various hospitals
