Coucou La French. I'm Angelina and I'm hoping to be your Event Officer for the next year!

The French Society is one of the biggest and greatest societies at KCL, with each weeks events attracting a huge number of students to mingle and interact with each other. The events this year

I have 4 main aims as your hopeful Event Officer:

• Add more in person and online talks with prominent French people

Our strong presence at a world renowned univeristy will allow us to continue the excellent work from previous years and add even more talks with French journalists, entrepreueners, CEOs etc. I also hope to make all events cross-platform linked so those that cannot attend in-person are able to to tune in from whereever they are so no-one misses out!

• Support the committee to continue with the ever successful Tuesdsay La Marsh nights

The recurrent meetup at the Cafe del Marsh is such a great place for French and Francophiles alike to come together and create a community as well as make friends.

• Organise more multicultural and cross-university events

With this years World Cup (trop triste pour Les Blues) we have seen how large and important the university French and International societies are in London. I will continue to organise more events together with other students. We are all studying various degrees and need to broaden our horizons with other students so we can all share the cultures we know and love.

• Co-ordinate student discount and exclusive French nights for members

Events like European Nights are rife in London and you deserve the prices to access them. I will continue to provide links to discounted tickets.
