Sonali for VP!

Hi, I’m Sonali and I’m running for Vice President of KCL Endocrinology Society!

As someone who has had much involvement with our lovely committee as Academic Officer this year, this year has been a fantastic year of KCL Endocrinology Soc, and I believe I have shown my dedication to my role throughout  – from hosting revision sessions ahead of Progress Tests to helping out at our Welcome Fair and charity stalls, I have demonstrated both my passion and my organisational skills, ensuring the success of our events.

Not only am I interested in endocrinology as a subject, but I am also motivated to expand the understanding of the specialty amongst the medical school community – having gained an understanding of the logistics of overseeing a society and running events, I believe that I have the skills to work alongside the President and other committee members to do so, giving my full support to the rest of the committee where needed.

I would love to continue to work alongside the rest of the committee to run a range of different events (namely PT/ OSCE revision sessions and general interest talks) and, given the success of our last one, would look to organise a few charity events throughout the year. I would also want to pursue further collaboration with other academic societies -  this, I believe, would enable us to organise fun and informative events that can appeal to a wide range of interests.

Thank you for reading through this brief manifesto, and I hope you can give me your support in this election!
