My Experience:
Having been a Clinical Rep for the WIM society over the past year I know exactly how this society works and what it takes to run a successful society.
Throughout my past 3 years at University, I have been an active member of many societies and been on several committees, including roles such as Vice President and Events Officer.
I am an avid team player and I know what it takes to be a great leader.
My Vision:
1. My main aims include empowering women in medicine to realise their true potential and seek opportunities to help better themselves - consistently aiming for equality, diversity as well as inclusivity.
2. Student mental health + well-being will be one of my top priorities. I aim to collaborate with many other KCL societies including pottery and yoga societies to help provide a safe and comfortable environment for all students. Sharing resources and helping each other pass exams is also important.
3. I would like to regularly invite doctors and consultants from all different specialties to empower + inspire us, in turn becoming positive role models and mentors for us. Building our connections and gaining advice from senior generations is crucial for a successful career in medicine. This will enhance our network and help us in the future.
