Hi I'm Seb!

I'm running for Head of Socials because I think this is such a great community and I have loads of fun every week :). I think it's really special to have so many passionate people in our society and to be able to support each other. 

My Experience

I've had experience running my own events brand for a little while now, organising events for bars, clubs and other venues. While I've mostly put on club nights, I've had the privilege of learning how to work closely with venues, negotiate good deals, and how to get people in the door. I'm really excited by the prospect of building upon my knowledge and my skills to deliver amazing events for filmsoc.

My Ideas

1. More Socials!!!

Besides our weekly Vault/pub socials, more amazing socials such as heading to the cinema, sick parties, and renting out cool venues to have fun with fellow filmsoc members.  

2. More Collabs!

Some of our most fun sessions this year have been collabs with other societies. Lots of fellow filmsoc members have floated the idea of inter-uni socials; why not? Inter-uni socials provide not just the opportunity to network with fellow film enthusiasts, but to build real, lasting community within London uni filmsocs

3. More drinks!!!!!

Make the filmsoc pay for a pitcher every week!!!! We're in a cost of living crisis tbh.
