Hi, I'm Jessica and my manifesto for a Year 3 Representative for Women in Dentistry is to work tirelessly to promote gender equality, diversity, and inclusivity in the profession. I will aim to provide more support and resources to Women in Dentistry. Applying to this society is something out of my own comfort zone and I want to inspire more women to do the same and take on more leadership roles. I want to help everyone get their voices heard and hear all of your opinions and thoughts on the future events that Women in Dentistry should run and I will ensure these ideas are pushed forward. Moreover, I'd like to advocate for more events such as the Women in Dentistry Conference day which included many workshops such as suturing. I also want to enable more networking opportunities for the members of this society. I believe I am fit for this role since I have had experience being a school representative before where I would discuss all the information with my year and relay this in school council meetings. This led to many positive changes being made in my previous school and I'm sure I can do the same here. Vote for Jessica!!
