SOCIAL SEC MANIFESTO 

Chloe & Joey 

Hey everyone, we are Chloey (Chloe and Joey) and running for social secs next year. With one of the most impressive attendance records of socials throughout the very very intense highs and lows of first year, we want to build a vibrant and inclusive social culture next year for all parts of KCL Tennis.  

Under our skilled and experienced leadership, we aim to diversify our socials to create a large turnout from all parts of KCL tennis. We have already started brainstorming some new ideas (laser tag anyone??), as well as want to keep some of the best socials of this year like karaoke or a classic Guy’s Bar evening (LUSL 2 represent). Most importantly, we will plan and release a full social calendar at the beginning of the detailed with the theme and the plan for each Wednesday social. We will be sure to consult with other committee members to make socials inclusive and appealing to everyone across the society.    

Here are some of our flagship promises:  

• 1. Induction – we want to make that everyone at this important and iconic social event has as much fun as I did (Chloe) 

• 2. No joint socials with cheerleading (we have got your back Seb and Jon) 

• 3. No more pesto lasagne, bread in a binbag, chocolate medals and Aidan’s questionable aux skills… most importantly, we promise an actual Christmas Ball afterparty  

• 4. No more last-minute shenanigans that happen to work (no offence Aidan and Aryan) through our incredibly innovative and organized social calendar with backup social plans in mind in case plans fall through 

• 5. Presidential pres every week (you know who you are) 

As KCL Tennis society’s next generation of alcoholics, feel free to request our list of references who can vouch for our expertise in this field. 

Good luck KCL Tennis. Be ready for the year of your life, on and off court. See you every Wednesday or else.
