Running for President of a society, and becoming one, has always been an ambition of mine. I believe I am in the right place, fitting in well with the society’s culture and team, along with sharing its ambitions, missions, and principles, at the right time, after gaining experience in managing teams and projects, and fully integrating the society’s institutional knowledge. 

KCL Women in Business has been put on the road for further expansion and, therefore, my vision for society is precisely this one, building up on the foundations laid this year. To continue with the society’s expansion, I plan on raising targets on the number of sponsors and partners. This will result in more sponsored events and opportunities we can share to empower women. I plan to launch two main projects, an online review – From Women, To Women, and a mentorship program in collaboration with a Gold sponsor. Moreover, I shall optimize processes between the departments by becoming more agile.

The Corporate Relations department is the backbone of our society, as it provides the means to deliver value - which is only realized when our people come together. Hence, I plan on maintaining and promoting this year’s recruiting principles and work culture established by Navya and Sia. The first will be ensured by creating and providing managers with short guidelines and principles to support them with selecting CVs and conducting interviews. The latter, by continuing our social activities, our group meetings, and encouraging in-person meetings.
