Our slogan for the 2023/24 academic year is to keep on improving!
As President this year, I've had the honour of contributing to a firmer establishment of the Brazilian community in London, which we have done together through amazing academic and social events and partnerships. If re-elected, my focus will be to keep on growing the Brazilian community in London and offering social, academic and professional opportunities for Brazilians through the society.
From social events such as watch parties for the World Cup all the way to academic panels with professors to debate elections and terrorism, the Brazilian society kept busy this year! As president, it has been my honour and joy to contribute as much as I can to partnerships and opportunities for the Brazilian community in London. From carnaval parties to partnering with the Brazil Institute, the Institute for Transnational Law and the Observatory of Democracy in Latin America, this year's committee has worked its hardest to bring Brazilian students at kcl both a sense of community and home away from home and academic and professional oppportunities. If re-elected for the next academic year, I plan on maintaining the society in its current path of growth. I want to keep on furthering connections with Brazilian and international corporations and organisations and to keep on throwing events for social integration. My goal for the 2023/24 academic year will be to keep on improving the society by promoting more events and opportunities for the members, as we've done throughout this amazing past year :)
