Hi everyone, my name is Afra. I am a second year student at KCL and I am interested in joining the committee next year as a treasurer. Having previously worked as a HR Administrator and virtual assistant, I have a clear insight into budgeting, money handling and using Excel for financial reporting. Through my job and other experiences, I have gained the skills and abilities necessary to manage the day to day financial duties of the society and I am confident I will be a great asset to the society.

I plan on carrying out expected duties as a treasurer, such as presenting audited financial year reports to the AGM, budgeting and monitoring the society’s finances throughout the year. I also plan on improving and positively impacting the society by identifying fundraising opportunities and liaising with sponsors and charities when possible.
