Hi Everyone! My name is Julia, an incoming 3rd year Global Health and Social Medicine Student. I am running to be Students for Global Health KCL's Social Media Officer for the academic year 2023-2024! As a GHSM student, I believe that I would be able to use my skills, knowledge, and connections in ensuring that the society’s social media platforms will be used to inform, educate, and celebrate Global Health and its community. 

I am extremely excited to be running for this position, and below I have outlined my aims, my intentions, and why I would be perfect for the role.

AIMS:

• Widen the reach of Students for Global Health KCL’s social media platforms 

• Ensure open lines of communication between the society and its members 

• Spread information about current Global Health news through regular informative social media posts

• Create a platform that allows SFGH KCL members to celebrate their achievements and share any news or announcements 

INTENTIONS:

• Have a regular posting schedule on Instagram and WhatsApp

• Create fun, enticing, and informative posts not only about the society’s events but also about Global Health facts and current news!

• Create unique but uniformed publication materials. 

• Post a weekly “Global Health Fun Fact” on sfgh KCL's social media platforms! 

• Interact with the online SFGH community through polls, Q&A’s, etc. 

• Collaborate with other SFGH branches to advertise events

• Send out regular newsletters about what’s happening within the Global Health community
