Make the Wainw-RIGHT choice for King's Shakespeare Company!

Hello everyone, I’m Maggie, a second year Politics student from New York! As current Treasurer of Women & Politics society, an enthusiastic King’s Shakespeare Company member, and actor in our production of Twelfth Night this year (I was the fool!), I think I’d be a great fit for the role of Treasurer for King’s Shakespeare Soc and would love to help lead such a fantastic society!

I’ve gained invaluable experience navigating the KCLSU finance system this year as a Treasurer for a society. I’ve always loved Shakespeare, and had a blast participating in our production of Twelfth Night. I also have experience as Social Media Secretary of King’s Players and as the director of the King’s Players’ ‘The Play’s the Thing’ last spring! In short, I love theatre, the theatrical community at King’s, and would manage the heck out of our financial transactions! To quote Polonius in Hamlet— ‘For loan oft loses both itself and friend, and borrowing dulls the edge of husbandry.’ You don’t have to worry about losing a friend in this treasurer. Thank you for your vote!
