I am very interested in pursuing a career in Cardiothoracics and being part of this amazing society would give me the opportunity to further explore this interest. As treasurer I would work to allocate finances to enable us to explore these interests by putting on interactive workshops, liaising with academic and conference officers!

Being part of KCLFOMSF as social media officer and Doctors do Mind's well being officer, I have learnt a lot and am excited to apply these skills and learn new ones, as I branch out and run for Treasurer of KCL Cardiothoracics!

Cardiothoracics is an amazing career due to the immediate improvements you can see in patients in life threatening environments, the heart specifically fascinates me, so being part of this society would help me further explore this interest of mine!

I would love to be treasurer because I am a very organised individual with great attention to detail, so I would handle the society's finances very carefully, keeping track of our expenses etc
- As treasurer I would also look into where we could allocate our finances to enhance our experience in this society, through putting on more interactive workshops, e.g suturing workshops
- I would liaise with other members of the society to organise mentorship schemes so students could get paired up with surgeons in the field to further explore this field and this would be an amazing opportunity!
