Candidate for the position of Pakistani Society - President

  • As previously being head of events, I'd like to continue to plan events  such freshers meet and greets and chai aur khel . Furthermore, organize excursions to renowned destinations across the UK, such as Oxford and Cambridge.

 

  • Organize engaging talks featuring renowned Pakistani figures from the political and financial arenas to enlighten our members about future developmental plans in Pakistan.

 

  • Arrange cultural social events that celebrate Pakistani traditions, including iftars and Eid events, fostering a deeper connection between students and their heritage.

 

  • Teaming up with other societies, both within King's and other PakSocs, to encourage a positive and vibrant social culture.

 

  • Bringing back renowned social events next year such as mehfil and cricket screenings.

 

  • Commence a well-being program to provide assistance for freshers and international students adjusting into university.

 

  • Incorporating diversity in events, including girls-only dholki nights and men's  games nights, to accommodate those who may feel uncomfortable in mixed environments.

 

  • Continue my role from last year to advance the development of a more inclusive society that brings together both home and international students, showcasing a cohesive and unified community of Pakistanis.

 

  • Sustain our collaboration with the Shaheera Foundation in Pakistan, thereby enabling us to raise funds for educating the upcoming generation of Pakistan.

 

  • Collaborate with new organizations like CARE Pakistan, to enable participation in diverse events and tutoring programs and raise awareness about the issues within the country's education system.
