Sarina Sanghera

Hi, my name is Sarina Sanghera and I am currently a 3rd year medical student. I feel that I would be a good social media officer as I aim to increase Trauma and Orthopaedics society’s presence on social media by posting more frequently and regularly updating the instagram, facebook and twitter accounts with exciting new content. After attending revision sessions held by Trauma and Orthopaedics society this year, I became more interested in the specialty and would love to be able to explore this interest further through being on committee. The current social media team have done a great job of creating aesthetic and eye-catching posts so I hope to continue this and build on it further. I consider myself to be quite up to date with current social media trends so hopefully this is something that I can bring to the table to try and encourage more interaction from followers. I have experience creating online graphics as I have fulfilled the role of publicity officer for various other societies this academic year, therefore I know how to make eye-catching instagram posts and use different online softwares. In school I was also on the yearbook committee which involved having the final say on a lot of the design and artistic aspects. Having worked in multiple teams before, I think that I am great team player who will listen to everyone’s ideas and work well with the other social media officers, as well as other committee members. I am also well organised and punctual so I will ensure any queries asked on social media platforms are responded to quickly, with the appropriate advice.
