As a dedicated and responsible student, I am confident that I have the skills and qualifications necessary to fulfil the duties of this important role.

Throughout my academic career, I have consistently demonstrated a strong aptitude for financial management and organisation. I am confident that my expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting will enable me to effectively manage the finances of our Society. The aforementioned skills have been refined through thorough advice from the money mentors team at King’s.

I also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills which I have developed by working as an ambassador for King’s College. 

This will enable me to work collaboratively with other members of the society to ensure that our financial goals are met.

Furthermore, I am a detail-oriented individual who will ensure that all financial records are kept accurately and up-to-date using my experiences working as admin at a GP to organise their filing system.

In my spare time, I intend to start learning statistical modelling and software like R which will be useful as a trasurer to file information.

Besides, I have work experience with Wahed invest and have shadowed their banking department’s head.

If elected as Treasurer, I would be committed to ensuring the financial stability of our Student Society. I would work tirelessly to ensure that our finances are managed efficiently and transparently, and that we remain in good financial standing with the university.
