Having been one of the officers for the bedside fun Lewisham scheme over the past year, I have a good understanding of how the scheme works, and so am able to utilise past experience to help improve and refine it. 

If elected I hope to work with the publicity officers to create more awareness for this project on our social media platforms. 

I would also aim to plan special themed days with the play specialists (eg around Christmas, Easter, etc), where we can arrange specific themed activities to give both the children and our volunteers breaks from their normal daily activities. I also hope to encourage more people to volunteer by advertising these specific events throughout the year.

This is an amazing scheme that I have been so grateful to be a part of and so I would love to be able to help it continue to develop and flourish.
