Why should you vote for me as YOUR GKTAIMS President?

  1. I am a RELIABLE, COMMITTED, AND ENTHUSIASTIC individual who strives for excellence at all times.
  2. I am deeply PASSIONATE about the field of internal medicine for its unique blend of intellectual challenge, diagnostic complexity, and the variety of settings to work in.
  3. I promise to LISTEN to the needs of the committee and the members to make this next year one to remember.

My Experience:

Having been the President of the KCL Women in Medicine Society 2023/2024, I know exactly what it takes to run a successful society.

Throughout my past 4 years at KCL, I have been an active member of many societies and been on several committees, including roles such as Vice President, Events Officer, and Clinical rep.

I am an avid team player and I know what it takes to be a great leader.

My Vision:

  1. My main aims include empowering medics to realise their true potential and seek opportunities to help better themselves - consistently aiming for equality, diversity as well as inclusivity.
  2. I would like to regularly invite doctors and consultants from all different specialties to empower + inspire us, in turn becoming positive role models and mentors for us. Building our connections and gaining advice from senior generations is crucial for a successful career in medicine. This will enhance our network and help us in the future.
  3. I would like to create a supportive and collaborative environment that fosters continuous learning and success for us all. I am committed to hosting regular revision sessions designed to empower individuals in their exam preparation journey. These sessions will be dynamic and tailored to address the specific challenges and complexities of internal medicine examinations.
