In the past two years, my journey through various leadership roles within different societies has enriched my experience, from organizing events to mentoring peers and connecting with industry leaders. One notable achievement was leading a team that guided a group of students through securing finance spring weeks, where we celebrated an impressive 80% success rate. This journey, however, has also highlighted the challenges within male-dominated sectors, where forming a robust support network among female colleagues can be particularly daunting. As a member of the Women in Leadership Society for the past year, I am inspired to further enhance our community. My vision includes the initiation of a women's mentorship program, the expansion of networking opportunities, and the increase of social gatherings to foster connections among future leaders.
