Hey! I'm Anivart, a queer, South Asian bioscience student and flautist. I'm running for diveristy lead because I am passionate about accessibility and inclusion. If elected, my priorities will be:

• Availability - I will make time for you to share any concerns or worries that you have in a safe, non-judgemental space, and will provide any support that I can to help you feel valued and included.
• Inclusion - I will  make ensembles and events welcoming and inclusive to people from all backgrounds, ensuring that everyone's individual experiences are valued.
• Accessibility - I will see to it that rehearsals and events are accessible, by teaming up with the MDs and social secretary, to make sure that your unique needs are met.
• Representation - I will provide a voice for all minority groups to make their ideas and concerns heard.

I will put your needs first, and make sure the Jazz Society's ensembles and events are inclusive and wecoming to all!
