I am James Purcell, a first-year business management and modern languages student. I would love to increase what we can contribute as a club regarding its charitable efforts. I would plan to do combined fundraising through social events similar to the vault this year. Further adding a possibility of contributions to schools as well, e.g. social games of tag against local high schools, tag with youthful groups etc. I have experience in relation to charitable agencies and have been fortunate enough to found and sustain educational programmes for impoverished communities abroad, and I would love to bring these attributes to the club itself. Not only this, but I would aim to work closely with the social media sec to build our reputation as a club and hopefully attract more numbers to join as well. Plus, I aim to raise money and knowledge of the subjects without taking much time out of members' schedules by organising events on standard social days, etc.
