I am a person who posts on social media on a regular basis and takes pride in their account, particularly on Instagram, to which I have found it easy to navigate the controls. I have a keen interest in photography and have done it at GCSEs, so I'm knowledgeable around certain software that involve having to edit or design. Additionally, I frequent websites such as Canva, particularly when creating playlist covers. I recognise that this could be useful for the role when having to design the advertisement for events.

If chosen, I will do my best to ensure that the social media accounts of the society is constantly updated with events that the society will be holding in the near future. This includes setting the reminder for the weekly reading and writing weeks. I will do this especially through communicating with other members of the society, particularly with the events coordinator, as well as the committees of societies that the Creative Writing Society will decide to collaborate with when hosting social events.

Given everything, I feel that being the Creative Writing Society's Social Secretary is therefore a suitable role for me.
