Together for Palestine, together for justice.

Why should I be SJP's new VP? It might help if I tell you a bit more about me first. I'm a Social Science student over on Waterloo campus (I know it looks like a sixth form centre), but those in my seminars may recognise me for famously talking too much. If you've never heard of Social Sciences, its basically a degree where I get to talk about essentially anything. My first essay discussed Islamaphobia, the next was racism, then war, and (with much credit to the support I've felt from SJP), connecting this to the situation in Palestine. As the new VP, I can't promise a world of things. But, I can promise that I'll do my best to work with other students, continue to organise in a range of ways, and grow SJP's presence on campus. I first joined SJP because of how open, kind hearted and supportive the committee and it's members were towards everyone. I'd want more than anything to continue this.
