Overview

Join us for a practical CV and Cover letter workshop led by Yinka, a Careers Consultant specialising in support for underrepresented students at King’s. As part of Disability History Month, this session is designed to help disabled learners build career confidence and success through focused skill development, effective application techniques, and understanding workplace support. Refreshments provided!

What to expect from the session:

-Introduction to strengths, KASE and King’s Skills for the future

-Understand how to refine your CV, Cover Letter and Applications for a  selected role using KASE and King’s Skills for the future

-Find resources to help with current job application season

-Requesting reasonable adjustments throughout your career

More about Yinka

Yinka works directly with students and graduates through delivery of extra-curricular workshops and one-to-one appointments. Yinka contributes to supporting under-represented learners through the Careers+ programme. This includes disabled learners, students of diverse heritage and more.
