Welcome back from the Summer break!

The arrival of September and the Winter term means it is time to start thinking ahead to the next part of Community Leaders Training. This will take place following the end of the Welcome period and is an essential part of your training in your journey into becoming a well-rounded leader so that you can help run your group as well as possible over the new academic year!

These sessions cover different content to the May/June CLT sessions so as a President or Treasurer it is compulsory for you to attend training, so make sure you read below! All committee members are welcome!   

What?

In the October training sessions, we will cover:   

  • What’s coming up in the year
  • Finance System Updates
  • KCL Service Panel featuring King’s Venues, King’s Food and King’s Security
  • Think like a Campaigner Workshop
  • Building your 2025-26 Committee Workshop
  • Event Building: Innovation and Collaboration Workshop
  • Budgeting Skills Workshop
  • Managing Conflict Workshop

Specifically Presidents and Treasurers it is compulsory for you to attend to ensure smooth sailing for your group!   

Attendance is free but you will require a ticket (more in the how section). Since the in person sessions are full day events there will be lunch provided for everybody in the in-person sessions!   

When?

The dates we will be running training are:   

  • Option 1: Wednesday 8th October 10am-3.45pm (Great Hall, Strand Campus)   
  • Option 2: Friday 10th October 10am-3.45pm (Great Hall, Strand Campus)   
  • Option 3: Tuesday 14th October 5.30pm-7:10pm (Online - core content only
