This exclusive leadership and campaigning development programme is designed for ambitious student leaders – especially those from underrepresented backgrounds – who want to sharpen their campaigning skills, grow their confidence, and build powerful networks.

📝 How to apply
✅ Eligibility
You must be a current King’s student who is already active in student leadership, campaigning, or community leadership roles. The programme is open to all students, but we are particularly looking for students from underrepresented backgrounds at King’s:
Ethnic Backgrounds:
- Black students: Black, Black British – African; Black, Black British – Caribbean; Any other Black background
- Chinese students
- Gypsy, Roma, or Traveller (GRT) students
Identity & Characteristics:
- Disabled students
- LGBT+ students (lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or trans)
- Mature students (21+ at first undergraduate entry)
Type/Level of Study:
- Postgraduate Research (PGR) students
- Postgraduate Taught (PGT) students
- Students on Clinical Practice Programmes
Widening Participation:
- Care-experienced and estranged students
- Forced migrant or refugee background
- Students from working-class backgrounds or eligible for Free School Meals
- Young adult carers

A competitive review – only a small cohort of students will be chosen to ensure personalised support. Invites to successful applicants will be sent early October, for the Kick-Off event on Wednesday 15 October.
