The Great Hall
The Great Hall is where RepFest will take place. Read more about the room’s accessibility here. There is step free access to the room.
The room can accommodate up to 200 attendees.
The first row of the great hall will be reserved for people who are disabled, hard of hearing, visually impaired. If you need this seat, please come to the front and use it, no need to ask first.
We will have an AV system in place to ensure consistent sound and hearing across the room. Please flag with a member of staff if you have any issues.
Sign In & Rep Networing (9:30-10am)
Sign in will take place inside the Great Hall. KCLSU staff will be wearing orange t-shirts and will sit behind an orange tablecloth to scan you in. You will need your King’s ID or your K number ready so we can check if you have a ticket.
At sign in, pick up a colour sticker that matches your faculty so you can find other reps in your faculty.
We know networking isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. If you do not want to talk to anyone, you do not have to. You can also come back for 10am for when the training is due to begin.
core training 10:00-12:20 (with break)
This is the longest section of the training but there will be a break in between. Feel free to leave at any time for a breather should you need to.
Networking 12:20-13:00
After the main training, we have arranged an opportunity for you to chat to other students and staff and find areas of collaboration.
Lunch 13:00-13:30
Lunch is served in the Activity Rooms on the 8th floor of Bush House, SE wing. The Activity Rooms are accessible via lifts or stairs.
Please email representation@kclsu.org if you have any concerns regarding allergens.
Deep-Dive Workshops 13:30-14:30
After lunch we will dive into some workshops covering four different topics that your Student Officers want your opinion and input on: assessment & feedback, timetables, diverse curricula, and study spaces.
The nearest accessible and standard toilets are on the 7th floor of Bush House, SE wing, one floor below the Activity Rooms, accessible via lift or stairs.
Staff Support
If you need any extra adjustments, of if there’s anything we can do to make you feel more comfortable attending, please let us know in advance.
If anything arises on the day, please speak to a member of KCLSU staff who will be easily identifiable in orange t-shirts (pictured above).
