KCL Diplomacy Society is honoured to welcome His Excellency, Husam Zomlot, Head of the Palestinian Mission to the UK, for an evening discussing the path to peace and reconstruction to Palestine.

In a first for King's, we will be hearing from His Excellency directly to understand how peace will manifest itself in the Middle East with the signing of a tentative ceasefire. We will also be discussing what the future holds for Palestine and the Palestinian people.

H.E. has a wealth of experience through previous appointments as Head of the PLO Mission to the United States and it is an honour to host him and other diplomats from the Palestinian Mission.

The conversation will be moderated by Dr Lama Tawakkol, a lecturer in international political economy in the Department of European and International Studies. She holds a PhD in political studies from Queen’s University, Canada. Prior to joining King’s, she was lecturer in international relations at the University of Manchester.

Tickets are free and can be reserved through the Linktree on our Instagram (@kcl.diplomacy) and on our website: https://www.kcldiplomacysociety.com.
