London Varsity 2026 is here! 

Join us as KCL Kendo faces off UCL!
It will be a standard 10v10 Kendo match between both teams, with free Jigeiko (sparring) at the end after the 10v10 for any kendokas to participate in, even if they took part in the team competition.

Whether to support participate, support your friends and experience a Kendo match for the first time, come along in your best red!

Event Details: 

Date: 22nd March 2026

Time: 13:00-17:00, we will start the fixture at 14:00, and aim to start Jigeiko by 17:30. 

Last entry: 17:00 

Location: Somers Town Community Sports Centre, 134 Chalton Street, London - NW1 1RX (30 minutes via northern line from Guy's Campus, and 30 minute bus from Strand Campus)

Cost: Free for viewers to come watch and cheer on! £5 for competitors and those wanting to do jigeiko 

Please come and watch even if you have no knowledge of Kendo to cheer on the teams! 

No outside food and drink is to be brought into the venue.
