This trip is an educational visit to Budapest organised by the Politics Society. It offers students first-hand insight into Hungary’s political history, state institutions, and collective memory, complementing academic study of European politics, authoritarianism, and democratic transitions.
The programme includes a guided walking tour to contextualise Budapest’s political and historical landscape, a visit to the House of Terror Museum exploring Hungary’s experiences of fascism and communism, and a guided tour of the Hungarian Parliament to provide a closer understanding of the country’s political institutions and legislative processes.
