CONGRATULATIONS to all our 2026-27 elected community leaders and new group community leaders, we are so excited to host this Celebration event to celebrate your successful elections or ratification and welcome you into the KCLSU Community Leaders Training Programme for 2026-27.

Community Leaders Celebration is back and better than ever!

Come and network amongst your peers, meet the KCLSU staff you will be working with and have the opportunity to ask questions to a panel of previous successful community leaders.

This event will be taking place on Tuesday 31 March from 6pm-8pm in 8th Floor North Terrace, Bush House.

The evening will cover the following:

• Overview of Community Leaders Training Programme
• Key Dates for your diary of flagship events and upcoming deadlines
• Question Panel featuring 4 of your fellow 2025-26 Community Leaders who will be answering all your questions about their experience running a committee and student group
• Networking opportunities with fellow Community Leaders that you may wish to collaborate with and KCLSU staff that will be part of your support network during your time as a community leader

There will also be free refreshments available for the evening. What's not to love?
(Plant-based, gluten free and halal food available. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available).

Tickets are free. However, this is a limited entry event so make sure to secure your ticket as soon as possible. Tickets will sell out fast!

Please note that this event is only open to newly elected community leaders, continuing community leaders and newly ratified student group community leaders for the 2026-27 academic year.

What if I can't make the date?

Unfortunately, this is the only event we have scheduled of this sort for the rest of this academic year but keep an eye out on other committee leader networking opportunities that we will announce in the following months.
