Event Description

Wednesday 25 March 2026

2pm - 6pm

Activity Room A, Ground Floor (In KCLSU cafe)

Tickets

£0.00 (Standard)

Join us at our free Historical craft event, hosted by KCL Makers with the Historical Society!

We'll learn how to do a classic type of embroidery and stitching called cross stitch. We'll also learn how to draw some old-timey lettering  (maybe we'll even mix the two ;)).

Worksheets and patterns will be provided for you to follow, as well as all needed equipment. You can join us even if you're completely new to crafting!

We recommend you join us earlier rather than later so you have enough time to finish making something, but you can drop by any time! You can even bring a friend along because our events are open to all students :)

Sign up through the KCLSU website so we know to expect you :)

Want to join the KCL Makers Whatsapp group chat to keep up to date with our events, or just have a question? You can contact us on Instagram at: @kclmakers
(Don't have Instagram? You can email us at kclmakers@gmail.com but note that the email isn't checked as often)

Thanks for reading and we can't wait to see you there!
