Need a break from the PhD grind? Join KDSA for a relaxed group hike to Hadleigh Castle on Friday, 13 June.

This is a chance to get outdoors, meet fellow PhD students across KCL, and take a short escape from labs, writing, coding, and deadlines. The route offers coastal views, open countryside, and a visit to the historic castle ruins.

Whether you’re new to London, looking to meet other researchers, or simply want a day outside, you’re welcome to join.

We will be leaving from a central London station at around 10am, and return in the late afternoon/early evening.

As train prices increase by 50% a week in advance, the ticket price will increase slightly from 5pm Friday 05.06 so we can maximize participation.
