Join us for an interactive, hands-on free braiding workshop led by a braiding expert, celebrating the artistry, history, and cultural significance of braiding.

This session will introduce you to the fundamentals of hair braiding, with a focus on protective styling and the deep-rooted traditions of cornrows. You will explore styles such as box braids and knotless braids, tailored to your experience level and interest.

The workshop begins with a short talk on natural hair care and the importance of protective styling, before moving into a guided, practical braiding session using professional tools and mannequin heads.

All equipment is provided and no prior experience needed. This workshop is a collaboration with King's Black Excellence. Come along!
