Overview

Pride - A Night at the Movies with GKTWFC

We’d love you to join us in celebrating LGBTQ+ history month with a screening of the BAFTA award winning film, Pride.

We will provide the food, soft drinks and good vibes, all that we ask of you is a minimum donation of £2. (Payable via KCLSU or in cash on the night)

We’re proud to say all proceeds will be going to Stonewall, a charity that works with many LGBTQ+ organisations and communities. With 1 in 5 LGB and 2 in 5 trans people having experienced a hate crime in the last 12 months this is a cause we can not ignore. Please see their mission statement and links to further information below.

‘We're here to let all lesbian, gay, bi and trans people, here and abroad, know they're not alone.

We believe we're stronger united, so we partner with organisations that help us create real change for the better. We have laid deep foundations across Britain - in some of our greatest institutions - so our communities can continue to find ways to flourish, and individuals can reach their full potential. We’re here to support those who can’t yet be themselves.

But our work is not finished yet. Not until everyone feels free to be who they are, wherever they are.’
